Red Thread Games is an independent game development studio based in Oslo, Norway. It was founded in September 2012 by Ragnar Tørnquist, creator of The Longest Journey and Dreamfall saga, and The Secret World and Anarchy Online universes.
Red Thread Games is currently working on Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey, the long-awaited sequel to award-winning adventure games The Longest Journey and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey.
Our goals
At Red Thread Games, we are passionate about games and interactive storytelling.
Our goal is to make games where stories and characters are in focus, games with mature themes, diverse worlds and moral complexity. Games that don't underestimate our players. Games that treat players with respect.
We believe that games are as powerful a storytelling medium as any other and should be treated as such, and that games should be emotionally engaging and challenging.
We believe that games are art. We believe that games can have a soul. And it's our mission to find that soul.

The Red Thread Games team consists of several veterans from the Norwegian game industry. The team has previously worked on The Longest Journey, Dreamfall, Age of Conan and The Secret World, and many other titles.
