Thank-yous from the team
You've heard a lot about the Kickstarter from the entity known as Red Thread Games, and from Ragnar Tørnquist, but the rest of the team also want to express their gratitude and thanks to our fans and pledgers.
Here, then, are a few words from some of the awesomely talented people behind Dreamfall Chapters.
From Christer Sveen:
Just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all the fans and backers for the awesome support and enthusiasm during the Dreamfall Chapters Kickstarter campaign. You guys have made this possible and we will do all we can to live up to your trust and dedication.
Best regards, Christer
From Quintin Pan:
Hey everyone :)
Wow, I think anyone on the team would agree that this has been one amazing ride: from the WTF moment when pledges started coming in without anyone even knowing the URL, to the OMG moment in the first hours when it started dawning on us just how many of you are out there, waiting patiently for us, and how deeply you still connect with these worlds and characters we want to bring back.
There were just so many of these moments all through the Kickstarter where you simply blew us away. We couldn't have wished for a more awesome bunch of people to see us through this campaign. So thank you. Really. Very muchly. Thank you for all the pledges, support, passion, encouragement, love, and fun times.
But really, we're just getting started, and I can't think of better company to have along for the ride. There was so much more cool stuff we wanted to do and to show you guys that we just didn't get the chance to fit in in the few short weeks of the campaign. So we've saved them up and we'll give you sneak peeks at these as we go along.
Hope you've liked everything we've had to show so far and that it's given you a tiny glimpse of our vision for the game. We'll make it a great game! Thank you for making that possible :)
Really appreciating all the support and generous contributions to this game from the community! It's a pleasure to be in a position to create art assets, atmospheric scenery and see the game evolve throughout the development period. Seeing the response from the community throughout the Kickstarter campaign, and seeing so many people being engaged in the prototype development, was great. Thanks a lot!

Well, now we here at Red Thread Games now entered a time of post-KS blues. A time when we can give our f5-fingers a rest and start contemplating the road ahead.
Without your help, support, enthusiasm, and dare I say...love, we would have been looking down a very different road right now, most likely one of boredom and uncertainty. But thanks to you, all of you, we are about to take the first steps on an epic journey together, one we have been longing for for years. It is a dream that has finally come true.
This is one of those situations where words risk coming up short, where the amount of gratitude we feel is impossible to accurately express. But I would be a poor writer if I didn’t give it an honest try, so here goes:
From the very bottom of my heart, I thank you all a thousand times and then a thousand more. I could not be more happy and humbled at the same time, and I will give you everything I’ve got to make sure we repay your faith in us.
Some might say we are dreamers, but, as you have all proved; we are not the only ones.
From Rakel Johnsen:
Dear pledgers, fans and in general awesome people!
Thank you so much for helping us complete the first step on our crazy journey towards making Dreamfall Chapters a reality! You haven’t seen much of me during this Kickstarter campaign, but I read your comments, posts and tweets with great delight!
I’m completely blown away by the support you’ve shown us, but also by the way you, our fans, seem to be bonding with each other. Dreamfall Chapters obviously isn’t just about a game, it’s also about life and friends and cupcakes and beer. Thank you again for allowing me to do what I love for a living! Hearts and high-fives all around!
And from Martin Bruusgaard:
Wow... I am flabbergasted! I didn't even dare to dream of this scenario, and yet here we are....
Three months ago I took a leap of faith, quit my job, and joined Red Thread Games. I believed in the game, the people on the team, and in you guys. I am really glad I took that leap, cause so far, all those things have proven to be right. You guys believe in us, and you have showed it, and we will forever be grateful. Now we can do what we love and launch a fantastic game, true to the saga, that we hope you will enjoy.
Thank you so much for believing in us, and now it's our turn to deliver. We will work our asses off to deliver you this game. We are also looking forward to keeping in touch with you as we move forward. Interacting with this community has been a true joy.
All the best,
